Celebration Buttons

Every day is a celebration! No matter where you are there is something to celebrate every single day. The Disney parks are no different!

You can visit City Hall in Disneyland or the Chamber of Commerce in Disney's California Adventure to receive a special button to celebrate your day. Celebrate your birthday, just married, engaged, anniversary, or just celebrate any day for any reason with a celebrate button.

Our wedding anniversary was a week after we last visited the Disneyland Resort but we decided to take a day and celebrate in the parks. We both wore our anniversary celebration proudly and cast members helped us celebrate by wishing us a wonderful anniversary.

Happy Birthday to me!

When you visit the Disneyland park to celebrate your birthday, make a stop at City Hall to receive your birthday button. You feel so special when everyone greets you by name and wishes you a happy birthday. Even non-cast members wished me a happy birthday. My birthday button spent much of the day underneath a rain poncho but that didn't stop anyone from recognizing the fuzzy image of the button sharing my birthday with everyone.

I had the pleasure of not only spending my first birthday ever at Disneyland (even though for 17yrs I lived within 1 hour of Disneyland) but I was able to share my favorite dining experience with my family at Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland hotel. I love Goofy's kitchen for several reasons. The food is amazing, the personal interaction with the characters, and the memories you share for years to come. At the end of our meal my family surprised me with a Disney Princess celebration cake. I was so touched yet so excited to have something so special that was all mine. Because my belly was full of such great food I took my personal cake (yes you get to keep it all) back to the hotel with me to eat later that evening. Even though the cake is long gone, I have my special treasure box with my goodies and even my candle to remind me of such a special day.

When visiting City Hall ask about restaurants that offer celebration cakes or other forms of celebration to make your birthday as special as mine.
