Disneyland Stick Figure Family Creator

How fun! I found this on the Disneyland Facebook page. The Disneyland Stick Figure Family Creator application.  I made a picture of our little family. With our trip just a few weeks away what better way to get in the mood.

Disney Vacation Secret #88

During one of our past Disneyland trips we came across this ad while riding the ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) to Disneyland.

In our family this is very true. I think many families this holds true. Disneyland is a magical place to share through the generations. No matter your age there is something wonderful to enjoy but most of all you have some of the most incredible memories to last a lifetime and beyond.

My parents enjoy taking the grandchildren to Disneyland (pictures shown above of my mother with all 4 grandkids at Disneyland December 2010). The smiles are unbelievable. There is something special about sharing the stories and riding the same rides we rode as young children. I look forward to taking my grandchildren to Disneyland and taking them on my favorite ride of all - Mr Toads Wild Ride.

Once upon a time...

I grew up in Southern California which made Disneyland very accessible to my family. It was not uncommon to find us visiting upwards of four times a year. It was home to us. It was the familiar place where we played and laughed no matter our age. It was a magical place where all our dreams would come true.

We moved from California in 1992 when I was only 17 but Disneyland never left our hearts. We all try to make the trip back once a year to rediscover our love and share with the new members of our family.

We have added spouses and children to our lives. As our children grow and one soon to be an adult I reflect on the years of past while at the Magic Kingdom.

Last year we visited for the very first time during Halloween. In all the years of living just an hour away we never visited during any holiday. The decorations were amazing and we were able to see the park with new eyes.

This year we are returning for the Christmas season. We will again see a new Magic Kingdom with all new surprises and wonder. Because of this I have decided to start this blog and share what we have learned, fun tips, and more!
