Olivia's Disney Adventures

I can remember that special snow globe I got every Christmas. The plastic dome and that bubble you could never get rid of but the enchantment as you dreamed of a place that could be as magical as that you seen inside that globe.

My snow globes have changed over the years and have a new magical meaning. Every globe I currently own is Disney. Disney has always been the most magical place I could ever think of and anything was possible. I have collected globes small and large.

Costume Chest Mickey Mouse Snowglobe. I searched for this one at the Disneyland resort this last trip but was unable to find one :( I will continue to look and I will have one!

I am sure to add more than these but I fell in love and must have these. Mickey Mouse was my reminder of success. Mickey Mouse was my reason for going to college and receiving my degree. Mickey Mouse is why I still dream big and beyond all that seems possible.

I love these little collector packs. You never know what you are going to get!

There are 10 different series I believe. In each pack you get 3 miniature collectible figurines. I personally am only interested in having the mickeys but there are several out there who want them all. Now don't get me wrong. I do enjoy collecting the other pieces but I am only looking for specific ones that mean something special to me.

I took a quick look through google and found many groups out there for trading.

This last trip I wanted the steamboat willie and the sorcerers apprentice. I stood there a fool going through the packs trying to figure out which ones were in the packs. I was lucky enough to find exactly what I was looking for!

You can only find these at the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World. Pick up a pack on your next visit.

Working from home can mean long hours so you need good sleep. Add in a comfy pair of pajamas and it is a perfect night. I have to confess... I love Mickey and Minnie Mouse pajamas! I have lots of them and all comfy.

Shhh - Don't tell anyone but I even wear them during the day when I have a long day of at home with work.

Walmart is my main source for my pajama purchases. Main reason is because its easily accessible since this is where I do my grocery shopping. They do come out with great styles frequently and very reasonable in price and sizes. I do buy pajamas from Disneyland and the Disney store as well.

My latest set of pajamas came this week from Walmart.

Tell me these are not cute!

They have 3 more pairs that I don't have that I am considering going back to purchase if they have my size. I tend to stick with the black, red, white combo as I prefer the classic mickey and minnie colors. I do choose other colors but these colors are my favorite when I go looking for pajamas. I also try to avoid obvious holiday styles but sometimes you just can't help it. 

I probably have about 10 current pairs of pajamas and the way I keep going I may have 30 by summer lol

What a special way to celebrate that birthday. Cupcakes make everything better especially when they are Disney themed


I found this blog when randomly skimming through the internet. I am not in Las Vegas but it has caught my attention enough that next time I am I will be stopping by for a bite.

I found these Mickey pops while shopping at Walmart. They have several Disney themed Valentines goodies this season of love but these were my favorites.

I already picked up some for myself but will be going back to buy more for the loved ones in my life. Everyone needs a mickey pop!

I could just die! Bakerella has done it again! She has made Sorcerers Hat cake pops. Anyone who knows me well knows my favorite Mickey's are Steamboat Willie and Sorcerers Apprentice. And anyone who knows me knows how much I love Fantasia.

When I think of Disneyland I think of the Disneyland I grew up and not all of what I see today. This bag has all those wonderful memories. I never consider spending a great deal of money on 1 purse simply because I buy purses so often and my taste changes often. This is one I would throw the credit card down on the counter as if going in for the touchdown and yell GIMME in the most animated way possible! Of course I would be far nicer, quieter, and less insane so they don't come escort me out but I WANT this one! I have said I will only purchase it with my earnings from my home business so this is my very first goal for the year.

I was so very lucky to get this one during my last trip to Disneyland as a birthday present. It looks small in person but boy oh boy does it carry a lot! It is so adorable! I got the white but I will be ordering the blue as well.

I am always on the hunt for great Disney themed purses (usually minnie and mickey themed) so you can always expect I have more mickey purses than any sane person should ever have lol

Everyone who has visited the Disney parks more than once develop traditions. I can be a special picture, eating at a special place, purchasing a special item.

I have 2 - we always ride Mr Toads and take a picture inside the entrance in front of mickey with the train station in the background.

Traditions are important to many visitors as these are what they carry through the generations for many years to come.

What are your special traditions?

With each visit to the Disney parks I think about what Disney cast member I want to be. Sometimes I want to be a princess, sometimes I want to be the ride operator for Mr Toads, other times I want to be a tour guide who knows all the secrets of Disneyland. More often than not I want to be Mickey Mouse. I want to be playful, the most recognized character in the park, and one of the most overly exaggerated character there is. Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney were my inspiration in college so being Mickey Mouse would be an honor.

Who would you want to be at the Disney parks?

I love cake pops. They are so incredibly simply and so yummy. What makes them better is when someone can add a Disney spin on them like Bakerella has!
